Jelly Roll Productions is honored to be celebrating Yehoodi's 10th Anniversary, Saturday, October 18th, 2008:

For 10 years now, Yehoodi has been the online home for the lindy hopper in New York City, the country, and the world. Yehoodi has become an integral part of the dance community, including: discussion boards, the radio show, Hey Mr. Jesse, the news items, and local and national event calendars. For 10 years, Yehoodi has proven to be one of the most cohesive forces within the community, as well as the reason why so many people are less productive at work. The Yehoodistrators have volunteered countless time and energy serving the community, so to say thank you, we are throwing THEM a party for a change!

Yehoodi's 10th Anniversary Celebration:

Barbara Morrison, is back and will be leading the celebration, backed by legendary jazz pianist Danny Mixon and his trio (who you all remember from the Basie Centennial Ball and Jelly Roll's 5th Anniversary Party) and Duke Ellington alum Art Baron on trombone. And what better place to celebrate than where Yehoodi had celebrated it's 2nd Anniversary: the old school joint Sal Anthony's SPQR!

Musicians: Barbara Morrison, with the Danny Mixon Trio, with special guests Art Baron and David Glasser. Other surprise special guests will be announced.
Date: Saturday, October 18th, 2008.
Location:Sal Anthony's SPQR, 133 Mulberry Street, in Little Italy.
Doors Open: 8pm - 12:30am
Cover: $25 in advance, $20 for students in advance, and $30 at the door for all.

Friday: A very special Jook Joint Shimmy (Details to be announced!)
Saturday: Main event, with Barbara Morrison and Danny Mixon at SPQR.
Sunday: New York Swing Dance Society, featuring the Paul Tillotson Love Trio!
